Hi there!
I can’t believe it’s been over two weeks since my last post! I’m trying not to apologize for not posting because blogging should be fun, not an obligation, but I do regret that my post number is going to go down. The real world is a pain! 😀
Anywho, I wanted to stop by and show you the progress I’ve made on the Lunar Chronicles group! I finished Scarlet and Cress, and Winter is a work in progress. Here’s a quick picture I took of them in front of their respective books (I put Winter in front of Fairest, because her book isn’t out yet). Sorry for the poor quality – it was indeed a quick picture.
I’m not sure what else to do for Winter’s outfit. I thought perhaps a pair of pants would look good, and maybe some jewelry, but I welcome your suggestions! She’s also supposed to have three long scars on her face, so I’ll be embroidering those, although I feel kind of bad about it. Sorry, Winter!
I also have some super exciting news…Marissa Meyer is doing a book tour for the release of Winter, and I’m going to attend the launch party!! (This news is too exciting for just one exclamation point.)
You can read the details here – it’s a LUNAR BALL, which means BALL GOWNS, and one of my lifelong dreams is to attend a real ball. Also, I’m going to meet my favorite author, and I can’t contain my excitement. I’m planning to bring along my Lunar Chronicles amigurumi to show her, as well as my copy of Cress for her to sign. (It’s my favorite book, and that’s saying something, because I’m a voracious reader.)
*deep breath* Okay, I’ll try to calm down…I’m just a little bit excited.
I will probably continue my separate posts on each of the dolls. My goal is to get them done before November 10, which is Winter‘s release date (and the ball!)
This is a bit of a short post, but I will bid you farewell for now, my wonderful blog readers. I hope you’re all having a wonderful week! <3 Oh, and I’d love to know if any Lunar Chronicles fans are reading my blog!
That is so cool! You get to go to an actual ball. squeals
Thank you, filliefanatic! I’ve been squealing since I found out, hehe! 🙂
Love the dolls! I read Cinder on your recommendation. Looking forward to reading more!
Thanks so much, Susie! I’m so glad you enjoyed Cinder – I enjoyed the later books even more, so I’m curious to hear what you think! 🙂
They’re amazing!
Thank you so much! 😀
