Nancy and Sluggo Amigurumi

I absolutely love making custom crochet for people. One of my dad’s coworkers saw a doll that I had crocheted for him and asked if I could make one for her. To which I said absolutely! Her request was for Nancy and Sluggo dolls. I did not know about this comic so I spent about a half hour digging through Google images as well as a comic compilation she sent home with my dad. To be honest, the cartoon style unnerves me a bit, but I like the character design. This is what I came up with!

It’s from the Mini Free Spirit pattern by the amazing Beth Weber, as usual. This is my favorite doll pattern in the entire universe, seriously. It’s beyond awesome. I designed the clothes patterns myself which was a fun challenge, and I’ll be posting the patterns here over the next couple months.

Anyway, this is just a few quick pictures because I’m feeling under the weather. But you know, cute crochet always helps me feel a little better. 🙂

Do you like Nancy and Sluggo? What dolls would you like to see in crochet form?

    1. Thank you very much! Maybe it’s an American thing? Although it wouldn’t excuse my not knowing about them, haha. 😉
