Bonsoir tout le monde,
I have finished my pillow from the Apple Blossom Dreams Crochet-a-Long (I posted about it here):
It’s made entirely out of stash items. I do not have a large yarn stash. I have the opposite problem of most people ~ they’re trying to get rid of yarn, and I’m always on the hunt for more! But I managed to find enough yarn for this pillow. (I haven’t actually made the pillow form yet, I stuck my other CAL pillow inside for the pictures.)
It’s a granny square on the back, as you can see. I crocheted in the ends as I went; that would have been a nightmare to weave in. (My least favorite part of crocheting is weaving in the ends.)
The buttons were donated by my generous mother, who has the awesomest button stash ever! I don’t know why I am so fascinated with buttons, but I could spend hours browsing through a box of them.
This has been a really fun crochet-a-long. Thank you, Apple Blossom Dreams, for doing it!

This turned out sooooooo cute! May I post about it on my blog with links to your blog?
Thank you! Yes, please do, I would LOVE that! I really want to get more people to know about my blog. I am a huge fan of your blog, and would be honored if you linked to mine!
Cute!
Merci!
It looks very pretty. 🙂
Thank you!
It’s beautiful, well done for getting it done so quickly, I am doing an afghan and a cushion cover at the same time, no wonder it takes me ages, I should try doing one thing at a time haha, I love buttons too, I have jars full of them but I can never find the ones I need for any given project so of course I go out and buy more. 🙂
Thank you very much! I have the same problem. I am a huge procrastinator, and I like instant gratification, so I’m much more suited to making pillows than afghans! (My mini-afghan took me over a year to make.) I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s obsessed with buttons! 😀
