Today is my last Drivers’ Ed class, so I decided to crochet safety cones for everyone in the class.

Unfortunately, I didn’t make this decision until yesterday afternoon, so yesterday and today saw me frantically crocheting twelve safety cones. But I finished in plenty of time for my class this evening.

I used this pattern, which I had seen and catalogued years ago. I’m quiteย pleased with the finished products; as a matter of fact, I’m going to have a hard time parting with them.

Perhaps in the future I should crochet a safety barrel to go with them!

  1. They’re so cute! Maybe you should make a stop motion of them flash-mobbing. That’d be cool!

    1. Hehe, I was actually thinking it would be super fun to do a stop motion with the safety cones. The flash mobbing is a great idea! I guess I’ll have to crochet some more after I give these ones away. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you, filliefanatic!

  2. I love them!!!! Their faces are adorable! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Thank you so much, Grace! I think the faces are my favorite part. ๐Ÿ™‚ My philosophy is if you put two eyes and a mouth on anything, it will be cute (I’m sure there are exceptions, but for the most part this has worked pretty well for me.) So glad you like them!

      1. Oh my gosh yes!!! Every since I was a kid, I’ll love anything that you put a face on. ๐Ÿ˜€

        1. We were obviously very similar children then! ๐Ÿ˜€
