…to my first author event!
Grand Gesture Books in downtown Portland, OR is kindly hosting a virtual author event for me and Unraveled! I will be in conversation with fellow YA fantasy author Jamie Pacton, and there will be an audience Q & A at the end. Here are more details:

From the first time I ever went to an author event at age 17, I’ve been obsessed. A decade later, after attending at least two dozen more, book events have still not lost their charm. (Shoutout to my fantastic parents and sister for accompanying me to so many of them and holding my book stacks while I tried not to hyperventilate in the presence of my favorite authors.) So to be the author at an author event for the first time…! BEYOND COOL.
I’m so happy it’s a virtual event because it is much more accessible, especially to my friends and readers who live far and wide. 🙂 It is free to attend (although I encourage you to support the store by picking up a book whether it’s mine or not) and I hope to see some of you there!
