An Unexpected Journey

I couldn’t resist the Hobbit title. This is a quick post to let you know that I don’t foresee myself posting on this blog much this year. I’m a full-time college student, and some recent developments mean I’ll be much busier….

• The most exciting one is that I’m a writer at Crochet Spot now! I’m so excited to be part of the team. This website helped me learn to crochet so it’s extra special for me to be writing for them. I’m posting two crochet patterns a month. So if you miss my crochet designs, please follow Crochet Spot to get your fill of them 🙂
• I’m posting a lot of rainbow-themed crochet on my Instagram, @onceuponayarn, as well as listing it in my Etsy shop. I’ve had a couple orders which I’m so excited about.
• I’m going to be selling at the Rainbow Market in my town, which is an LGBTQ-themed craft fair. I was selected from a bunch of applicants and I’m SO excited to show my support of the community. I have a bunch of friends who are LGBTQ+ and it’s super important to me to help increase acceptance of them! I’ll be selling the mini flags I showed you a few posts back and other LGBTQ+ themed things. This will be my second craft fair and I’m over the moon about it.
• I also have a super big collaboration with a subscription box company in the works. I can’t say any more than that right now but I’ll keep you posted. It’s amazing!

Basically, all of my crafting dreams have come true these past two months. I can’t believe how lucky I am. I’m sad to be leaving Once Upon a Yarn for the time being but I hope you understand why. Thank you for your continued support and love! <3
